Mice

Mice can invade your home and cause structural damage while spreading diseases. They have been known to damage electrical wires, cause plastic pipe damage, and diminish the structural integrity of wood. They can also spread diseases such as salmonellosis and dysentery by contaminating your food, utensils and toiletries with their droppings.

The clearest indicator of a mouse infestation is finding their droppings; these are 1/8 – 1/4 of an inch and cylindrical shaped. Another sign is gnawing; with their strong buck teeth they are able to chew through almost anything. With their heightened senses, they can be attracted to the smell of food in your home and gnaw through packages of dried goods in your kitchen and pantry.

Luckily, there are many effective methods to eliminate and help prevent mice from entering your home again in the future. Our highly trained staff is always excited to solve your rodent concerns. Give us a call today to arrange your first service!

Rats

Rats have a terrible reputation – and with good reason! They are known to gnaw through almost anything - including plastic, wood, lead pipes, and electrical wires to the point of shutting down an entire household’s electrical system. They can also carry and transmit diseases by biting or scratching humans as well as leaving their droppings and urine around the home.

How can you tell if you have a rat problem? Look for gnaw markings that have a rough feeling or 1/2″ to 3/4″ droppings around your house. Rat nests can also be found in basements and other lower portions of buildings.

Thankfully, eliminating rats from a property can be accomplished. After confirming the area(s) of rat activity, a member of our highly trained team will discuss the options available to fully eliminate the rat activity in and around your home.
